Does Jesus Care?

How many times have you asked yourself that question? Does Jesus care? We often find ourselves asking that question in times of trails and the hardships of life. The song Does Jesus Care answers contains wonderful truths about God’s love and never-ending care for us.

Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press, and the cares distress,
And the way grows weary and long?

Oh, yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.

Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?

Oh, yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.

Does Jesus care when I’ve tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief there is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?

Oh, yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.

Does Jesus care when I’ve said “goodbye”
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches till it nearly breaks—
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?

Oh, yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.

  11. Through both joy and pain , we transcend , grow and gain …
    Going  up and down through   life
    Like a U-turn and U-gain
    We shall in God remain …
    Sure , The sun  would shine brightly after the rain …
    We evolve in life moving within a  train…
    God help us stay strong and sane ,
    Our spirits  transfer in a cosmic  domain ,
    In trials and errors ,
    we fall and rise  but nothing goes in  vain ,
    With God , we are eternally loved ,
    My spirit keeps sending peace and
    awareness we shall retain ,
    Forgive our sins , O , God  , and  countless  blessings for us your mercy would contain …
    God help us choose the best path or lane …
    You may close a door for us ,
    But then relieve us and guidance WE SHALL regain ,
    We shall always thrive and dive into heaven when  God would sustain …

    Thank you …God bless our world …

  12. God is in everyone and everything,

    After the winter, comes the spring,

    At this time, the birds would sing ,

    Love and light, the divine shall bring ,

    The divine is here , there and everywhere,

    Dare to believe that life is fair ,

    Liberty and justice  we shall  declare ,

    Love and light are not rare …

  16. I remember singing that song in a little small town church many years ago. I remember singing it at times with tears welling up, and every once in a while I’ll “hear” that song in my mind again as it reminds me that Jesus cares, and I am never alone. Thanks for sharing it. 🙂

  20. I have absolutely no doubt at all about the fact that Jesus cares not just for me but for you and the entire population of the world.
    He cares about us our lives, the choices we make, the way that we conduct ourselves.
    He shares our joy, our loves, our trials and tribulations and supports us in all that we do.
    I have experienced his love and caring many times in my life and I have been truly blessed and saved by him especially from the grip of addiction to alcohol which through his grace and mercy I am entering my 23rd year of sobriety on April the 7th.
    I am so grateful for the challenges, the trials and tribulations I have experienced because they have made me the person I am today and affirmed the love that God and his only begotten son Jesus Christ has for me.
